Muhammad ‘Ali emphasizes the importance of Zahra Sultan's education in French and playing the piano.

‘Izzat al-Saltanah writes about her travel: first on the way from Tehran to Qum, Mahmud Khan was thrown out of the carriage, but only had minor injuries on his hands, thus Khanum [their mother, Khadijah Sultan] sacrificed a few sheep. Letters from Sadiqah Dawlatabadi to Fakhr Taj and Qamar Taj
Letters from Sadiqah Dawlatabadi to her half-sisters, Fakhr Taj and Qamar Taj Dawlatabadi, the daughters of Haj Mirza Hadi Dawlatabadi and his second wife, Munis Aqa.
